About Your Provider
Joy, a certified esthetician, was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. Her personal experiences with cystic acne and eczema ignited a lifelong passion for skincare and cosmetics. She earned her esthetics certification from Transitions School of Cosmetology in Flint in the winter of 2010 and launched her career in cosmetics and sales. Joy’s journey expanded into freelance makeup artistry, waxing, and eyelash application.
With over a decade of experience, she has treated a diverse range of skin types and concerns in both spa and medical spa settings. Now part of the DOCS Dermatology team, Joy is certified in advanced treatments such as Morpheus8, which deepened her appreciation for microneedling, as well as VBeam Perfecta and other medical-grade procedures. Joy is passionate about helping her clients achieve radiant skin and lasting confidence.
