Chemical Peels

A treatment using professional-grade active ingredients to exfoliate skin, revealing smoother texture and improved appearance.

What is it?

Chemical Peels are a proven, non-invasive treatment to smooth and brighten skin while improving complexion. Dermatologists use chemical peels to treat acne, age spots, discoloration, dull complexion, fine lines and wrinkles, freckles, melasma, rough skin, and sun-damaged skin. Chemical peels are derived from all-natural ingredients and have been safely administered by dermatologists for over 50 years.

Chemical peels can offer noticeable results within a few days with minimal downtime. Our experienced providers at Associated Dermatologists customize the amount and type of peel to your unique skin and goals. The success of your chemical peel is highly dependent on the person performing the peel.

What to expect

Appointments can be quick – as short as 15 minutes. The process starts with facial cleansing to prepare your skin for treatment. Our expert providers apply the peel and begin monitoring your skin. When we reach optimal results for your unique skin, your provider removes the chemical peel or provides instructions for you to wash off the peel. Based on the level of your peel, we’ll administer cold compresses and skincare products to soothe your skin.

The team at Associated Dermatologists works closely with each patient to prescribe the ideal at-home care to maximize results and reduce downtime. We will help you understand your home-care routine, how long to expect redness and swelling, and when you can safely apply makeup. For medium or deep peels, our team may  schedule a follow-up visit.
